Welcome to TaleMeld ('the Platform' or 'We'). By accessing https://talemeld.com, downloading, or using the TaleMeld mobile applications, you confirm your acceptance of and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

[Strictly 18+ Adults Only Requirement]: The Service is exclusively designed for adult readers enjoying serialized complex narratives. Under the US COPPA and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code (Children's Code), you affirmatively represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. Individuals under 18 are strictly prohibited from using TaleMeld.

Recurring Subscription Nature: Plus ($9.99/mo, $99/yr) and Pro ($19.99/mo, $199/yr) plans constitute recurring auto-renewable subscriptions delivering monthly quotas, priority model pipelines, and neural narration voices.

Renewal & Billing: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the close of the current billing cycle. Renewal charges occur within the 24 hours preceding expiration.

Easy Cancellation Instructions:
• Web Management: Log into your TaleMeld account and navigate to "Billing", or click the "Manage Subscription" link in your Paddle billing confirmation receipt. Your access remains fully active until the end of the paid billing period.

Refund Terms: Please refer to our standalone Refund & Cancellation Policy. Web orders are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record with a 14-day refund guarantee. Contact [email protected] for assistance.

• Consumable in-app point tokens are platform-internal assets with no expiration, non-redeemable for cash;

• [Private Novel First Doctrine]: TaleMeld operates primarily as an intimate, private customized novel suite. Generated novels are private to your library. We do not operate public publishing plazas or community ranking boards, preserving your reading sanctuary.

[Scope of Rights Assignment]: To the extent permitted by applicable law, TaleMeld assigns to you all right, title, and interest it may possess in the generated outputs. However, under current copyright jurisprudence (including US Copyright Office guidance, UK CDPA doctrine, and EU standards), purely AI-generated text without substantial human creative input may not qualify for autonomous copyright protection. Copyrightability varies by jurisdiction and the demonstrable level of human creative contribution.

[Creative Contribution Record]: When you architect protagonists, define fictional laws, make decisive narrative choices, and edit text blocks, these contributions reflect protectable human authorship. TaleMeld generates a verifiable Creative Contribution Record capturing your lore design, branch decisions, and editorial revisions to assist you in copyright registration or literary publishing.

[Third-Party IP Protection & Anti-Cloning]: You agree not to request direct sequels, fanfics, or cloning of third-party copyrighted franchises. When anchor works are referenced, TaleMeld's compliance engine strips proprietary entity names and extracts only abstract craftsmanship tropes, guaranteeing that generated novels remain 100% original.
